This page explains how {{ .Site.Data.identity.LEGAL_NAME }} ("we", "us") handles personal data on granite-engine.digital. It is written to be consistent with Taiwan's 個人資料保護法 (Personal Data Protection Act, PDPA).

Who we are

We are the controller for any personal data you submit through this site. Our registered details appear in the footer of every page and on the contact page: business name, representative, address in Taipei, telephone and email.

What we collect and why

We collect only what you choose to send through the inquiry form: your name, email, an optional phone number, and the message you write. The lawful basis is your consent — you submit the form because you want us to reply. We use the data only to read and respond to your inquiry. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking on this site, so no behavioural data is collected automatically.

Where the data goes

Your inquiry is sent as JSON to our own same-domain form handler at /api/inquiry and is used only to reply to you. It is not sold, shared with brokers, or used for marketing. We keep inquiry data only as long as is needed to respond and to keep a honest record of correspondence, then it is deleted.

Consent preference

The cookie consent banner stores your Accept or Reject choice in your own browser, under the key granite-engine-consent. This is a local storage item; it is not sent to us or to any third party. Choosing Reject simply hides the banner again; no feature on this site is gated behind that choice.

No analytics, no third parties

No analytics or third-party tracking runs on this site. We do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, Meta pixels, or any external measurement script. The only external-looking request the page makes is to load self-hosted fonts from this site's own assets.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you sent us. To exercise any of these, email the address shown in the footer and tell us which inquiry you are referring to. We will respond within a reasonable time.
